1、Adjust the carburetor, reduce the oil level in the float chamber, and reduce the oil output from the main nozzle and the economizer. Properly delay the ignition advance angle; Fuel pipe, filter, gasoline engine and carburetor of fuel injection system; Adjust the carburetor of gasoline engine or the pump and nozzle system of diesel engine; If there is a preheating device on the intake/exhaust manifold, it should be set to the "summer" position.
2、Check the density and liquid level of electrolyte frequently. The density of electrolyte is smaller than that when used in winter. Replenish distilled water in time and keep the vent open. Adjust the forklift generator regulator appropriately, reduce the charging voltage and voltage appropriately, and clean the regulator contacts; Adjust the electrolyte density of forklift battery (reduce it appropriately).
3、Correct adjustment of ignition system components, such as spark plug clearance (appropriately increased) and power-off contact clearance of distributor (appropriately increased) for gasoline engines. Delay ignition time properly, remove carbon deposits on spark plugs, and prevent knocking.
4、Strengthen the inspection of tires. In summer, the road surface temperature in the south is often above 70 degrees. Forklift tires are heated, and the tire pressure increases, so it is easy to burst. When running in high temperature for a long time, the tire temperature must be checked frequently to prevent the tire temperature from being too high. When necessary, the forklift truck should be stopped in the shade to cool down, and then continue to run after the tire temperature is low. It is absolutely forbidden to use cold water or deflation to cool down. Pay attention to inflating the tires according to the specified standards, and keep the contact air pressure normal.
5、Improve the heat dissipation device and increase the cooling intensity. Check the sealing condition of the cooling system, the tightness of the fan belt and the working condition of the thermostat, and ensure that the system has sufficient cooling fluid. Remove scale from cooling system (radiator, water jacket). When the engine parts overheat and the water tank boils, stop and cool down in time, and be careful not to turn off the engine to prevent the engine from overheating and cylinder pulling accident.
6、In hot summer, the engine should be replaced with lubricating oil with high viscosity, and the transmission and differential should be replaced with thick gear oil, which should shorten the oil change period. Forklift wheel hub bearings should be inspected and maintained according to the prescribed period if they are replaced with grease with higher dropping point.
