Like cars, forklifts have wearing parts. In order to ensure the safety and performance of forklifts, it is generally necessary to replace them in time.
1. Forklift oil filter
To ensure the cleanliness of forklift oil and the internal oil circuit of forklift engine, an oil filter is installed in the engine lubrication system of forklift. The purpose is to prevent impurities from being mixed into the engine oil and causing oxidation, thus causing gum and sludge to block the oil path. The replacement cycle of forklift oil filter is to replace all the oil at the same time when the engine works for about 240-1000 hours.
2. Forklift Air Filter
The main function of forklift air filter is to block the dust and particles inhaled by the engine during intake. If the filter screen is not cleaned or replaced for a long time, it will not be able to block the dust and particles. Once dust is sucked into the forklift engine, it will cause abnormal wear of the cylinder wall. Therefore, it is best to clean the air filter of forklift about 240 hours a month, and blow it clean with an air pump, instead of washing it with liquid. The replacement cycle of forklift air filter is that the forklift engine needs to be replaced for maintenance every 240-1000 hours.
3. Forklift truck gasoline and diesel filters
With the implementation of Euro III standard, the quality of gasoline used in forklifts is constantly improving, but it is inevitable that some impurities and moisture will be mixed in. Therefore, the gasoline must be filtered when it enters the gasoline pump of forklifts, so as to ensure smooth oil path, filter moisture and impurities and ensure the normal operation of the engine. The working principle and function of diesel filter are the same as those of gasoline engine. As both gasoline filters and diesel filters are disposable, their replacement cycle is every 240-1000 hours or so.
4. Spark plug
Spark plugs directly affect the acceleration performance and fuel consumption performance of the engine, such as long-term lack of maintenance or even failure to replace them on time, which will lead to serious carbon deposits in the engine and abnormal work in the cylinder. Under normal use, the replacement cycle of spark plugs is about 3000-6000 hours. When choosing a spark plug, first confirm the model and heat rating of the forklift engine. When the forklift feels that the engine power is insufficient, it should be checked and maintained once.
5. Timing belt
Part of the timing transmission mechanism of internal combustion liquefaction or gas engine of forklift truck is belt transmission, the main component of which is rubber, and its service life is short. If the timing belt is not replaced at the specified time, the transmission mechanism will be damaged after aging, and it will not work normally. In severe cases, the engine may be scrapped. The replacement cycle of timing leather is about 6000-9000 hours. It is recommended to replace it in advance.
6. Forklift tires
Forklift tires are mainly divided into two types, one is solid tires, and the other is pneumatic tires. For example, if there are cracks on the side of pneumatic tires, even if the driving mileage is not reached, they should be replaced for safety reasons. When the tread depth is less than 3mm, or the tread has reached the wear indication mark, it must be replaced. The advantages of solid tires are: no tire burst, no tire repair, no matter where there are iron pieces and screws, the forklift can be used normally, and there is no need to worry about the situation of tire burst and failure to use. The advantages of solid tires are that they can be used only after installing new tires, until the wear scale affects the normal use, without any maintenance in the middle, and there is no need to worry about the use environment and damage the tires.
7. Forklift brake pads
When doing forklift maintenance, it is particularly important to check the brake pads of forklift braking system, which can be said to directly affect the life safety of drivers. Generally, the brake pads of forklift will gradually wear with the increase of mileage and braking times. If the thickness of the brake pad is less than 0.6 cm, it must be replaced. Under normal driving conditions, the replacement cycle is about 3,000-6,000 hours or when the brakes are poor, the brake pads should be checked or replaced once.
8. Forklift Battery/Forklift Battery.
Usually check and replace it in about two years. At present, many types of forklift products use traction maintenance-free batteries, which have durable power and can be charged and discharged for 1000 cycles, and can be used continuously for about 5 hours at a time. The service life of the battery is closely related to the normal maintenance of customers, such as the first charging time, whether it is charged in time after use, and the lead-acid battery cannot be overcharged, let alone under-charged. After the electric energy is used up, the battery will not be easily vulcanized and its service life will be longer. Its replacement cycle is generally one to two years before deciding whether it needs to be replaced. Some batteries with better brands can be used for more than two years and can be used normally. Because of the high international price of lead, the price of storage battery is relatively high.
9. Oil used by forklift truck
For all kinds of oil, hydraulic oil, engine oil, hydraulic transmission oil (wave box oil, transmission oil), gear oil, brake oil, antifreeze, etc. required for vehicle operation, according to the vehicle usage, the engine oil is usually changed around 240-1,000 hours or 3 months. Usually, check the oil quantity frequently to ensure that it is above the bottom line; Brake oil is recommended to be replaced around 10,000 hours; Generally, antifreeze should be replaced in 2 years or 10,000 hours. Usually, pay attention to the liquid level. If it is lower than the lower limit, it must be replenished in time. The transmission oil is changed in about 6000-12000 hours; And the hydraulic oil and gear oil should be replaced in about 9,000-12,000 hours.
10. Electrical connector
Except for a few important electrical connectors on forklifts, platinum contacts are used, and most of the other connectors are made of copper-zinc alloy. Under normal circumstances, its reliability is guaranteed. However, if the vehicle runs in a harsh environment with high temperature, high humidity and turbulence for a long time, these connectors may have loose, rusted and poor contact. And some strange electrical faults are mostly caused by this. Therefore, during routine maintenance, it is also necessary to regularly check the electrical plug-in fittings of forklift trucks.
11. Forklift generator bearing
Nowadays, many repairmen are nicknamed "loaders", which means that they can only change parts, but can't repair forklift parts. In fact, as long as some forklift parts are maintained according to regulations, their service life can be greatly extended, and forklift generator is one of them. Generally speaking, when the forklift runs for 9,000-12,000 hours, the generator should be checked. In addition, the bearings of water pump, steering pump and air-conditioning compressor should also be checked regularly.
12. Forklift brake disc (brake disc)
Forklift brake disc and brake shoes are rubbed together, and brake shoes are worn, so the brake disc will be worn to some extent. This truth is very simple, but many people only pay attention to replacing the shoes when doing forklift maintenance, but they often neglect to replace the brake disc. The consequences of excessive wear of the brake disc are very serious. Generally speaking, the brake disc should be replaced after the brake shoes are replaced 2-3 times.
